My Dearest Daughter,

Someday I will be old. When the time comes, be patient with me. If I repeat a story hundreds of times please don’t interrupt me. Just listen.After all, I used to tell you the same bedtime story hundreds of times when you were little.

If I dont understand the latest technology dont make fun of me. I taught you how to eat, how to walk and hopefully how to live a good life. If I forget something or lose my place in a conversation give me time to remember if I don’t remember thats ok too. All that matters is that we’re spending time together.

If my legs are to fail to carry me, help me walk the same way I helped you with you.

And when my time comes to leave you, do not be sad. Help me face my journey with love and patience. I will thank you with a smile and my unending love.
